55th Annual National Drawing and Small Sculpture Show Juror’s Virtual Guest Art Lecture Available (Watch Video)

Baylor University Sculpture Professor Robbie Barber Discusses His Own Art and Philosophies

Article by Melinda Eddleman

Since 1966, the Del Mar College Art Program has curated its National Drawing and Small Sculpture Show, a juried exhibit that attracts artists’ entries from across the United States. And, the selected juror usually provides a guest art lecture while in Corpus Christi to choose the artwork that makes up the national show.

Robbie Barber, Professor of Sculpture with the Art and History Department at Baylor University and juror for the 55th National Drawing and Small Sculpture, did make the trek to Corpus Christi to select this year’s exhibit pieces; and while at Del Mar College, he recorded a guest artist lecture that you can now enjoy by watching the following video. Enjoy!
