Admissions Form “Drive-thru Drop Off” Event for DMC Summer II and Fall 2021 semesters scheduled June 30, July events scheduled, too

Article by: Rosa Linda Reynoso

Need to complete the admissions process or get more information about registration, courses and resources at Del Mar College (DMC)? Short on time to get the admissions form turned in to register for either Summer II or Fall 2021 credit courses?

The DMC Outreach and Recruitment Office has a solution … a “drive-thru drop-off” event that allows you to stay in your vehicle while turning in your completed admissions form or getting an information packet so that you can complete the College’s admissions process before registering for credit courses. The event is scheduled Wednesday, June 30, from 3 to 6 p.m. on the East Campus at Baldwin Blvd. and Ayers Street. (Enter the campus using Edwards Street off Ayers Street to access the parking lot where the event is scheduled.)

Other drive-thru drop-off events are scheduled for July 7 at the College’s Center for Economic Development (3209 S. Staples Street) and July 21 at the same location on the East Campus as the June 30 event. Both July events are from 3 to 6 p.m. During all drive-thru drop-off events, DMC recruitment specialists will be on-hand to help answer your questions and get you started at Del Mar College.

Registration for Summer II and Fall 2021 credit courses is already underway. The deadline to register for Summer II is Tuesday, July 6, which is the same day tuition and fees are due. Six-week Summer II classes start on Monday, July 12. Fall credit courses begin Aug. 30.

Check for deadlines, including tuition and fee payments for different registration periods throughout the summer, by using the College’s Academic CalendarAdditionally, current and prospective students can access WebDMC on the College’s home page (www.delmar.edu) to view course offerings, which includes frequent updates and additions throughout the registration process. WebDMC also is where students can check their financial aid status, review their degree plan and find other information pertinent to their attending the College.

Other informational opportunities––such as Live Chats, online workshops and registration events––are listed on the Outreach and Enrollment Services’ web page at https://www.delmar.edu/becoming-a-viking/discover/tours/outreach-events.html.
