Del Mar College Update
Late yesterday, Del Mar College received information that two students have tested positive for COVID-19. The two students are in different degree programs and the cases are not related. Both students were immediately instructed to self-isolate. As a result of the positive cases, thirty additional students and four employees who were in close contact have been asked to quarantine.
The areas on the West Campus where the exposures occurred have been disinfected. Those who were identified as being exposed to the virus (per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines) while on DMC property were personally notified by a DMC representative.
