Del Mar College Severe Weather Advisory

Article by: Del Mar College
Office of College Relations

Due to severe weather conditions across most of our service area, Del Mar College has decided to move all classes online, where conditions allow. Employees should also work remotely, if possible. Employees who have been deemed critical personnel will be contacted by their supervisors with further instruction.

Reports of various stages of flooding have impacted areas throughout the Coastal Bend resulting in several road closures. Those who are currently on campus are released to go home but are highly encouraged to review their personal routes to determine when it is safe enough to drive to their destination.

If you are currently not on campus, DO NOT report to class or work.

The College will continue to monitor conditions throughout the day and will adjust operational plans accordingly. Please make sure to monitor the DMC website, email and social media accounts for future updates.
