Early Advising and Online Registration Currently Underway for DMC Summer I Credit Courses; Classes Begin June 1

Summer is a great time to get credit courses out of the way FAST at Del Mar College! Early Advising and Online Registration is underway for Summer I and II classes. And, you can even register for the Fall 2021 semester, so don’t wait!

The early deadline for Summer I course registration is quickly approaching and is Tuesday, May 25, which is the same deadline to pay tuition and fees by 6 p.m. Late Registration for Summer I reopens on May 26 and runs through June 2, which is the same day tuition and fees are due by 6 p.m. for the late registration opportunity.

Summer I 6- and 12-week credit courses begin Tuesday, June 1. Summer I 5-, 9- and 10-week classes begin Monday, June 7. (Del Mar College is closed on Monday, May 31, for the Memorial Day holiday.)

Registration for Summer II and Fall 2021 courses will continue. Summer II semester courses (6-week classes) begin July 12 while the fall semester starts Aug. 30.

Learn more about DMC admission and registration procedures at www.delmar.edu/registration. Check for deadlines, including tuition and fee payments for different registration periods throughout the summer, by using the College’s Academic Calendar.

Additionally, current and prospective students can access WebDMC on the College’s home page (www.delmar.edu) to view course offerings, which includes frequent updates and additions throughout the registration process. WebDMC also is where students can check their financial aid status, review their degree plan and find other information.

The College will deliver summer courses online and in hybrid formats, which may include face-to-face classes, depending on evolving COVID-19 conditions and the Return-to-Campus Plan phase in effect at the time. The College is currently under Phase 2.

Additionally, the Student Enrollment Center, Registrar’s Office and Financial Aid Services Office are open to provide in-person assistance. Operational hours are:

  • Harvin Student Center, East Campus at Baldwin Blvd. and Ayers St.: 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday
  • Coleman Center, West Campus at Old Brownsville and Airport Roads: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 to 12:30 p.m. Friday
