IMPORTANT MESSAGE (Sept. 12, 7:40 p.m.): College closed Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 13-14, due to changing conditions with Tropical Storm Nicholas

Due to rapidly changing conditions associated with Tropical Storm Nicholas, the Del Mar College Crisis Management Team has decided to close all College facilities and cease all operations beginning Monday, September 13 through Tuesday, September 14. It is anticipated the College will resume classes and normal operations on Wednesday, September 15, if conditions allow. Those employees deemed as essential personnel will be contacted by their direct supervisor if required to report to work.
 
We will continue to assess weather developments over the next few days. Click here for the latest storm updates from the National Weather Service. Please continue to monitor the College's website at www.delmar.edu, College social media sites or local news media for further updates. 
Please remember to exercise caution through this and all weather events. Avoid flooded areas and roads – Turn around, don’t drown – and observe beach conditions, including riptides.
