(Update: May 12 Meeting Postponed) May 12 Board of Regents Meeting To Be Teleconferenced; Public Not Able To Attend But Provided Access

UPDATE: The Board of Regents  meeting has been postponed as of today, May 12, and will be rescheduled for a later date. A notice will be posted when that new date is determined.

 

The Del Mar College (DMC) Board of Regents will hold their regular monthly meeting via telephone conference call beginning at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, at the DMC Center for Economic Development. Members of the public will not be able to attend this telephonic meeting in person, but they will be able to view the meeting online or access via telephone.

Until the COVID-19 pandemic concludes, the Board will conduct business in accordance with orders and guidance from city, county and state officials, including recommendations to practice social distancing and wearing face masks or coverings, to ensure everyone’s health and safety.

Community members may access the May meeting by going to the online video link at https://boxcast.tv/view/dmc-board-of-regents---regular-meeting-5-12-2020-710818. They may also call (571) 317-3122 and punch in Access Code 442-280-853 to listen but will be muted throughout the meeting. Individuals should access either method by 12:55 p.m. before the meeting begins.

Public comments may be submitted using one of two options –– sending an email to borcomments@delmar.edu or leaving a voicemail message at (361) 698-1084. All public comment requests must include the submitter’s name and the agenda item they wish to address. If submitting via email, comments should be limited to 500 words or less. If submitting comments using the 1-800 number, callers will have the ability to record comments, which shall be limited to three minutes or less.

Public comments using either option are due by noon on May 12. Comments made in writing will be read during the meeting. Comments recorded via the 1-800 number will be played back during the public comment section of the meeting.
