May 26 DMC Piano Duo Performance in Agen, France Available for Viewing (Video)
Dr. David Sutanto and Dr. Shao-Shan Chen Traveled with Corpus Christi Delegation as Part of Sister City Cultural Exchange Program

As part of the Sister City Cultural Exchange Program between Corpus Christi and Agen, France, Del Mar College Music Department piano faculty Dr. David Sutanto and Dr. Shao-Shan Chen performed a duo piano recital at the Théȃtre Municipal Ducourneau on May 26. Their repertoire featured American classics including Rhapsody in Blue, among others.
Agen is one of Corpus Christi’s Sister Cities and part of a program that promotes citizen diplomacy, cultural understanding and economic development opportunities. Other sister cities include Yokosuka, Japan and Keelung, Taiwan.
While in France, Drs. Chen and Sutanto also presented masterclasses at the Lycée Bernard Palissy and Agen Conservatory of Music.
