Summer is just around the corner, and it’s a good time to get started on college courses or continue taking courses to meet that final goal … graduation.
This Saturday, April 17, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., Del Mar College (DMC) Student Services will hold On-campus Registration for individuals who need that “personal touch” to get admission, class registration, financial aid, tuition and fee payment and other business out of the way for Maymester and Summer I and II (and even Fall 2021) semester credit courses. Advising and meningitis vaccines will be provided on-site, too.
The registration event is scheduled in the College’s Harvin Student Center on the East Campus at Baldwin and Ayers. Questions about the event can be directed to the Student Enrollment Center by calling 698-1290 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Individuals can also learn more about the DMC admissions and registration procedures by going to www.delmar.edu/registration. Check for deadlines, including tuition and fee payments for different length sessions, by using the College’s Academic Calendar.
Maymester classes begin Thursday, May 13, and run through May 28. Summer I and II semester credit courses begin June 1 and July 12, respectively. Summer I courses include 5-, 6-, 9-, 10- and 12-week courses while Session II courses are 5- and 6-week offerings.
Need to take the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) test? It’s a state mandated test that measures individuals’ college-level readiness in reading, mathematics and writing.
TSI testing is available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. during Saturday’s registration event. Fees apply.
