Online Registration for Fall Credit Courses Opens April 20

Article by: Rosa Linda Reynoso

While the fall semester seems a long way off, the first day of classes in late August will be here before you know it. Online Registration for Del Mar College (DMC) Fall 2020 credit courses opens Monday, April 20.

Classes start Aug. 24, but it’s not too early to start making plans to attend.

This Online Registration period will run through Wednesday, July 15, with tuition and fees due for courses registered on or before that same date. At this time, only online and mail-in payments are accepted due to closure of campuses and centers because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Check the College’s “Academic Calendar” for tuition payment and other deadline dates for all registration periods.

Course offerings this fall include 8-, 12-, 15- and 16-week sessions. The College will deliver courses using online, hybrid or face-to-face formats depending on evolving COVID-19 precautions. Both current and prospective students can access WebDMC on the College’s home page (www.delmar.edu) to view course offerings, which will include frequent updates and additions throughout all registration periods.

WebDMC is also where students can check their financial aid status, review their degree plan and find other information.

Prospective students can visit “Becoming a Viking” on the DMC website to complete the admissions process and for other information. A complete admissions file is required before registration can occur.

Current students planning to take courses this fall can visit the DMC “Prepare to Register” web page for more information. Students also are encouraged to contact an advisor prior to registering (www.delmar.edu/current-students/registration/department-advisors.html).

Learn more about admissions, registration and other pertinent information by visiting www.delmar.edu/registration or by contacting the Student Enrollment Center at enroll@delmar.edu.
