Online Registration Opening for Summer Credit Courses on April 13

Article by: Melinda Eddleman

For individuals planning to continue or even start their studies over the summer, Del Mar College will offer credit courses during its Summer I and II sessions. Online registration begins Monday, April 13.

Summer I courses begin May 26, and Summer II courses start on July 6.

The College will deliver summer courses online and in hybrid formats, which may include face-to-face classes, depending on evolving COVID-19 precautions.

DMC will also offer Maymester online courses May 7-22. Online registration for those credit classes is currently underway and will run through May 7, the same day classes begin.

Both current and prospective students can access WebDMC to view course offerings, which will include frequent updates and additions throughout the registration process. WebDMC is also where students can check their financial aid status, review their degree plan and find other information.

Current students who plan to take summer courses can visit the DMC “Prepare to Register” web page for more information. Prospective students can visit “Becoming a Viking” to complete the admissions process and for other information.

Additionally, students are encouraged to contact a faculty advisor in the department of their major to discuss registration. For the list, visit the Departmental Advisors page.

Individuals who are not sure who their advisor is or have other registration question can contact the Student Enrollment Center at 361-698-1290 or enroll@delmar.edu.

Please visit our COVID-19 web page for College-related updates and Frequently Asked Questions. If you have additional questions related to COVID-19, visit the Texas Department of State Health Services website. Additionally, DMC library staff have created an online COVID-19 Resource Guide, which provides links to several national and state health organizations and the latest local and national news coverage.
