Registration underway for Del Mar College Summer II and Fall Credit Courses

First payment deadline set for July 5 with summer II first class day on July

Article by: Rosa Linda Reynoso

While the weather keeps heating up outside, you might make plans to attend Del Mar College this summer during the second session, which begins July 11. In fact, it’s not too early to take the steps necessary to attend this fall.

Registration for both summer II and fall 2022 credit courses is underway, so now is the time to ensure you get the courses you want.

Current On-campus and Online Registration runs through Tuesday, July 5, with tuition and fees payment due for 6-weeks summer courses registered on or before that date. Summer II credit classes begin Monday, July 11.

The College will be closed on Monday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

Don’t have time to take courses during the summer? Registration for fall semester courses continues with first payment deadline set for Wednesday, July 20, at 6:30 p.m. Course offerings during the fall semester include 8-, 12-, 15- and 16-week sessions.

Fall credit classes begin Monday, Aug. 29.

Registrants are encouraged to visit the Heritage and Windward Campuses to talk with representatives in the Student Enrollment Centers, Financial Aid Offices and even with staff in the Business Offices to set up an installment plan for fall semester classes if they can’t pay tuition and fees by the deadline. These resources are located in the Heritage Campus Harvin Student Center (Ayers and Baldwin) and the Windward Campus Coleman Center (Old Brownsville and Airport Roads).

Currently, student services are offered at the Oso Creek Campus at virtual stations in the STEM Building on the first floor. Everything you need to register for classes is available, ranging from advising to financial aid. For more information, visit www.delmar.edu/oso.
