The DMC Upside is a 30-minute TV News Magazine hosted by Carlos Garanzuay and Emily Gonzalez. The August 2018 episode covers the Small Business Development Center hosting the annual B.I.G. Event to assist Coastal Bend business owners, the DMC Mexican-American Studies program’s annual Summer Seminar, the DMC Foundation’s announcement of this year’s “Over the Edge” rappelling fundraiser, the dual credit Cosmetology program providing free haircuts, highlights from the Corpus Christi Prefreshman Engineering and Smart Girls Coding Camps and other stories.
