The DMC Upside - May 2018

The DMC Upside is a 30 minute TV News Magazine hosted by Carlos Garanzuay and Emily Gonzalez. The May 2018 edition covers the Viking Island Program (VIP) agreement between Del Mar College and Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi to provide students with additional tools and support to succeed during their first two semesters of college, a $500,000 Texas Workforce Commission Skills Development Fund grant for DMC Corporate Services to provide training to CHRISTUS Spohn Health System nursing professionals, the over $1 million gift from OSIsoft LLC providing software and services for the Process Technology Program, along with a $25,000 equipment donation by SensorFlight to the College's Geographical Information Systems Program and the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Technology Education Consortium for educational purposes, along with other topics. The DMC Upside airs on digital cable in Corpus Christi and is produced by DMC-TV.
