Due to tropical storm conditions extending further into the day and continuing to deteriorate, Del Mar College campuses and centers will remain closed for the remainder of Tuesday, August 22. Employees should continue to work remotely if possible.
Normal campus operations will resume tomorrow, Wednesday, Aug. 23.
Students and staff of Collegiate High School should follow any instructions issued by the Corpus Christi Independent School District.
College officials will continue to assess weather developments and share information as warranted. Monitor your email messages, the College's website at www.delmar.edu, College social media sites and local news media for further updates.
As always, employees should take caution when traveling in adverse weather. Avoid flooded areas and roads – Turn around, don’t drown – and observe beach conditions, including riptides.
