Winter Weather Advisory (Feb. 12, 2021)

Article by DMC College Relations

Del Mar College is currently monitoring winter weather conditions throughout the area. Due to anticipated hazardous road conditions caused by low temperatures and the possibility of freezing rain, DMC Administration has decided to close all College facilities and cease all on-campus operations beginning at 5 p.m., Saturday, February 13.

All campuses will remain closed over the weekend and through Monday, February 15. However, all online courses will proceed as scheduled on Monday, February 15, and all DMC employees should plan to work remotely on Monday.

As of today, Feb. 12, College facilities and on-campus classes are expected to resume during regular business hours on Tuesday, February 16. Del Mar College will continue to monitor conditions throughout the weekend and early next week and will adjust operational plans accordingly.
