Del Mar TV Webcasting Live High School Equivalency Graduation Ceremony on June 21, Rebroadcasts Airing During Following Weeks

Their determination to get an education has kept them going. For students completing their high school equivalency certificates through the Del Mar College Adult Education and Literacy Department, beating the odds has been a challenge during their lives.

Out of 131 GED graduates, 70 plan to participate during the ceremony scheduled this Thursday,June 21, in the College’s Richardson Performance Hall.

Del Mar TV will webcast live the ceremony, starting 15 minutes before the 7 p.m. event starts. Individuals can view the ceremony at www.delmar.edu/webcasts.

Individuals who miss the live webcast can watch rebroadcasts on Channel 1301 (formerly Channel 19) through Spectrum, Channel 19 through Grande Cable and on Channel 99 through AT&T U-verse as follows:

  • 7 p.m. on June 28 and July 5 and 12
  • 3 p.m. on July 2, 9 and 16

DVDs of the recorded ceremony can be pre-ordered by phone for $20 each by calling 361-698-1328. Visa and MasterCard charges will be accepted. For an additional $2 shipping and handlingfee, DVDs can be mailed.

Individuals can also pick up DVDs from the Business and Registration Desk at the Del Mar College Center for Economic Development (3209 S. Staples) beginning Monday, July 2.
